Welcome to the web site of Electric violinist Caroline Owen who has been making a big impact with her stunning performances, enchanting audiences worldwide with her spectacular musical show.
Caroline is truly a unique and innovative performer with blazing charisma and magically artistry, her shows come to life as soon as she steps out with her charismatic onstage rock star demeanour. She has wowed audiences around the globe crossing musical boudaries with live sets of jazz, urban, epic rock, exotic latino and contemporary classical melodies.
One of her latest projects Urban Strings began 2010 by winning Radio Aire music competition with original composition Signature.
So far in 2010 Caroviolina tours her solo act in Mallorca and performs in Sorrento Italy. Plays at the pretigous venue Sketch Regent Street London and makes a debut appearance on Asian TV.
She has recently performed on MV Millenium cruise on the Thames.
Highlights of 2008/09 season include sell out performances with the award-winning world famous Spirit of the Dance, touring opera houses and theatres of Norway including the Oslos' Drammen theatre. Caroline made her debut performance on P & O cruise ship Aurora, audiences loved her musical extravaganza.
Equally at home on the catwalk, she has performed for Adidas in Dublin, Asian TV - Bollywood fashion Show, The Leeds Fashion Show, Strut Fashion - Radio Aire and Yorkshire Brides VIP Show.
To date her extraordinary career has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride with appearances on Heartbeat ITV, Sir Jimmy Savilles Big Wow Show, BBC Radio and Calender ITV. She has even ran away with the circus, the famous Billy Smarts Circus for a 10 month UK tour.
Caroline trained at the pretigous Leeds College of Music obtaining a degree BA Honours in Jazz whist being tutored by Cuban violinist Omar Puente.
